How to Show iPhone Pictures on Your TV

Although the iPhone does not include the necessary components for displaying media on your television, the operating system includes a feature called Home Sharing that allows you to stream music, videos and pictures to your television set by way of an Apple TV. Home Sharing connects your Apple TV to your iOS device using your local Wi-Fi network and integrates with your iPhone’s main applications through the AirPlay button. When connected to the same wireless network as your Apple TV, your iPhone automatically displays the AirPlay button beneath media objects capable of being sent to your Apple TV.
